This week’s episode begins with Osman having two visions. The first dream is of Suleyman Shah his grandfather who visits him in his sleep and tells him he will have a visit from four horsemen and he is to rise up to the revolution.

The second dream is of the Mongols who have captured Osman and he lies awaiting execution by Balgay’s hand. In this dream, he sees his friend Samsa Bey bow down before Balgay and gives him the Genghis Khan dagger which will be used to kill Osman. In response, Balgay tries to execute Osman with the dagger but Osman gets the upper hand and drives the dagger deep into their throat of Balgay.

Our episode continues now with Osman waking from his dreams after sleeping in the woods that night. Around him are his Alp’s including Batur Bey who has turned his back on his father and joined Osman. They have been exiled from the Kayi Village and are beginning a new mission to exterminate the Mongols from Sogut.

Osman has been advised that the Mongols have raided the Bazaar and have filled their carts with food and are making for their camp. Osman plans that he and his Alps will be a part of this food delivery and ambush the carts. They change into the guard’s clothing and look just like Mongols. They make their way toward the Mongol camp.

In Kurulus Osman Episode 13 English Subtitles, At the Mongol camp, Balgay receives a visit from Zohore Hatun (Dundar Bey’s wife). She comes by herself and prostrates herself before him. She offers him Osman and Edebali if he will save Batur Bey her son. She promises to keep him informed of Osman’s movements.

At the close of last week’s episode, we saw Samsa Bey and Osman caught in a savage fight against each other. At the end of the fight, Osman told Samsa Bey that he needed to trust his warriors if he was to govern this land. Samsa Bey who was one of his most loyal warriors could not be reasoned with and they both nearly kill each other. Osman’s last words to Samsa Bey are for him never to cross his path again.

Dundar Bey is asked to attend a meeting with Balgay at the Mongol camp. He is a little frightened as he walks through the camp and is surrounded by fierce looking Mongols. He is led into the presence of Balgay on his knees and bows down before him and accepts Balgay as his Lord.

Balgay grants him the position of Sanjak Bey and presents him with gold coins to give out to the Beys within his Council and a flag of the Mongols to fly from his nomad.

Osman and the Alps arrive at the Mongol camp and blend in with the other warriors. They see Dundar Bey leaving Balgay’s tent. The sight sickens Osman to the core of his soul.

In Kurulus Osman Episode 13 English Subtitles, Zohore tries to get Selcan Hatun to deliver clothes to Batur Bey. She hopes she will be able to track down where Osman is.

After his visit to the Mongol camp, Dundar Bey arrives back at the Kayi Village flying the Mongol flag. The tribe jeer and riots as Dundar Bey places his hand over his heart and tells them that he is now Sanjak Bey. Bamsi Bey and Abdurrahman cannot believe their eyes when they see a Mongol flag being flown on the land that Ertugrul Bey conquered. Also, the title of Sanjak Bey is always an honored position given by the people not a Mongol leader.

Dundar Bey hands out the gold given to him by Balgay to his Bey’s. Bamsi Bey and Abdurrahman will not accept any Mongol gold from him. All the Bey’s decision to accept defeat and stop fighting the Mongols except Bamsi Bey and Abdurrahman who will not succumb.

Osman has infiltrated the Mongol’s camp. His goal is to steal Genghis Khan’s dagger and the lost laws. He advises his Alps that in the evening when the Mongols are partying around the fire they will make their attempt.

Osman seizes the opportunity and steals the dagger along with the laws and makes his escape undetected. Meanwhile, Balgay finds out that his treasurers have been stolen and goes mental.
There is only one person who could have stolen his treasures and that is Osman! “ I will rip the flesh off his bones. I will drink his blood. I will feast on his flesh!” promises Balgay.

At the Kayi Village, Selcan Hatun prepares her horse to take Batur Bey’s belongings to him as his mother wishes. Zohore knows that if she has her followed she will eventually find Osman.

At his secret hideout, Osman’s meets Bala Hatun. She readies her horse to make the journey to the Kayi Village to see Selcan Hatun. She doesn’t know that Selcan Hatun has left the village and is already on her way.

Bala Hatun and Osman are still quarreling. Osman tells her that he cannot envision a companion for life who will not trust him nor obey him. Bala is brought to tears by his words.

In Kurulus Osman Episode 13 English Subtitles, Balgay has every Mongol available to chase down Osman. He has been brought the news that Samsa Bey and Osman had a falling out and Balgay will use Samsa Bey to exact his vengeance on Osman.

Dundar Bey moves the throne of the Bey’s from Ertugrul’s tent to his own and takes his seat of the great Bey of the Turks.

Bamsi Bey leaves the Kayi village and brings the news to Osman that Dundar Bey has been made Sanjak Bey by Balgay and the flag of the Mongols now flies from his nomad. Osman prepares his Alps for action and collects his box of treasures.

Prince Salvador (Siddik his Muslim name) meets with Osman at his hideout. Bamsi Bey and the Alps remember only too well how Salvador had betrayed them and left them locked in the treasury at the castle. They drag him off his horse and prepare to slit his throat. Osman intervenes and tells them that one of his secrets was to have Salvador act as his spy and have him bring him information of what is happening at Kuluchaiser Castle between Sofia and Balgay.

The Alps respect that Osman had to keep this a secret to himself. Their respect for Osman is reignited. They see how he has planned ahead. Bamsi Bey sees him as a grand Bey worthy to be called Sanjak Bey by his people and not like Dundar Bey who has been given the title by a Mongol.

In Kurulus Osman Episode 13 English Subtitles, Osman prepares to barge his way into the Kayi Village. He collects the Genghis Khan treasures to take with him.

At the nomad of Samsa Bey, the Mongols arrived. They make sure he knows that they have come as a friend and not an enemy. They tell him that Balgay awaits him back at his camp and he is requested to meet with him. He is told if he doesn’t come they will lash him like a cart-horse again and make him come. This intimidating attitude upsets Samsa Bey who kills the Mongol messengers and tells his Bey to alert the nomads that the fight for freedom has begun.

After riding for quite some time, Osman takes a break on the road. He opens his treasure box to find that its contents have been stolen and he has been betrayed. He has a traitor in his midst. It is not long before he works out that it is Batur Bey. He mounts his horse and rides to the Kayi Village in raging anger but alone.

Meanwhile back in Dundar Bey’s nomad his son Batur Bey brings him the stolen treasurers and places them at his father’s feet. He tells his father “my duty has been completed as you requested my father.”

Bala Hatun and Selcan Hatun meet on the road unexpectedly. Bala shares with her the sorrow she has in her heart since arguing with Osman. She is encouraged by Selcan Hatun to have patience as she knows that Osman loves her very much. She asks Bala Hatun to take the clothes she was given to Batur Bey (who is no longer at the hideout) and Bala agrees to do so. She mounts her horse and begins her journey back to the hideout.

What neither woman is aware of is in the woods a band of Mongols watches from a distance. They begin to follow Bala.

In Kurulus Osman Episode 13 English Subtitles, Bala is a smart girl and she knows that she is being followed. She dismounts from her horse and sends it ahead in the hope that the Mongols will follow the horse and not her.

Bala runs into the woods thinking she is making her escape but unfortunately she runs into the band of Mongols. She fights like a warrior but although the Mongols have been ordered not to hurt her, she is stabbed in the stomach.

Meanwhile back at the Kayi village, Osman rides straight up to the Mongol flag and with his sword cuts it down.

Outside his father’s tent, he calls out for the traitor Batur to show his face. He calls him a coward for his betrayal of his people. He has his horse stomp on the Mongol flag and grinds it into the dirt.

He tells Batur that he will pay for what he has done. He dismounts and draws his sword. He does not get anywhere near Batur. He has ridden into a trap. Mongol ambushers deliver two arrows into his body. One in his chest and one in his leg.

Seeing Osman fall to the ground wounded brings a sarcastic smirk to Batur Bey’s face. He feels content that he has had his revenge for the time that Osman plunged a dagger into his chest and nearly killed him.

In Kurulus Osman Episode 13 English Subtitles, Osman cannot move. The Mongol archers are in readiness to kill him. He has fallen into their trap.

Osman in great pain and in a situation that he cannot do anything about still bravely swears revenge against Batur Bey.

You will have to join me next week to see how Osman gets out of this trap and also to see what happens with Bala Hatun who has been critically wounded by the Mongols.
