As we have had a gap between Episode 17 and 18, I will lead you into this week’s episode with a little recap as we go.
We commence at the mansion of Alisar Bey. Aygul (Dundar Bey’s daughter) tries to inform her father that it was her mother who told Balgay that Gunduz had told Geyhatu that he had the Genghis Khan’s treasures. This information led to Gunduz being captured and tortured by Balgay and Batur Bey being killed at the hand of Alisar Bey. Dundar Bey also believes that it was Osman who had killed his son in revenge for his betrayal.
Alisar Bey was given the title of Sanjak Bey by Geyhatu the mongol in Konya. Alisar Bey had made Dundar Bey leader of the Kais tribe although the Kais themselves have voted for Gunduz as their leader. Alisar Bey promises Dundar Bey that he will give him back the Kais nomad if he stands alongside him against Osman and Balgay..
Princess Adelpha who was on a journey from Istanbul to Konya to be Geyhatu’s bride was captured by Osman. Osman sends Princess Adelpha to the Kais Village for her safety.
Osman himself is captured by Balgay but for once they join together against Alisar Bey, even though both men do not trust each other. Balgay’s reward in helping Osman is to finally get his hands on the Genghis Khan treasures.
In Kurulus Osman Episode 18 English Subtitles, Boran and Princess Adelpha arrive back at the Kais nomad without Osman. Princess Adelpha’s identity is kept a secret and she is cared for within the Kais nomad by Bala and Selcan Hatun.
Gunduz is not happy when he is told that Osman was captured by Balgay. He changes his plans to attack the mansion and sends his Alps in search of Osman.
Prince Salvador is told that Osman and Balgay have joined forces. Sofia has become suspicious of Prince Salvador loyalty.
Osman arrives at Alisar Bey’s mansion.
Balgay also arrives at Alisar mansion and both men walk in together. Alisar Bey realises that Osman and Balgay now have an alliance. Osman demands that Dundar Bey be turned over to him but Osman finds out that Dundar Bey is no longer there.
Osman swears that the next time he sees Alisar Bey he will kill him. His new alliance with Balgay did not serve him well. He did not find Dundar Bey nor was there an army of mongols. Osman is true to his word and tells Balgay the Genghis Khan’s treasures lie with Yannis in Kuluchaiser Castle and Balgay goes after them.
Dundar Bey left the mansion to travel back to the Kais Village along with his wife and daughter. They stop for rest and Zohre takes the opportunity to tell Dundar about how she went over his head and visited the mongols. His anger was great. He now knows that most of his accusations towards Gunduz and Osman have been without truth but this still does not stop him from acting out his revenge on Osman and Gunduz.
In Kurulus Osman Episode 18 English Subtitles, On arriving at the Kai Village, Dundar Bey is confronted with Gunduz. One has been named leader of the Kais by Alisar Bey and the other has been named the leader of the Kais nomad by elective vote.
Alisar Bey sends a letter to Geyhatu in Konya. He knows that Princess Adelpha is most likely being held in the Kais nomad and if he and Dundar Bey can find her Geyhatu would shower them both with glory and money just to get her back. Then the title of leader of the Kais would once again be Dundar Bey’s.
Dundar Bey sends out spies to try and locate Princess Adelpha in the village. If they find her they are to capture her. All is to be done in secrecy. Dundar Bey is also advised that his first wife and son are travelling to the nomad.
Osman sends Boran Alp to the Kai nomad to alert them that Alisar Bey and Dundar Bey are up to something. He also sends a message to Bala Hatun to meet with him in private.
Balgay sends Kongar the mongol to Kuluchaiser Castle to confirm that the treasurers are truly there. Once Kongar has seen the treasures he rides back to tell Balgay telling him that Osman spoke the truth.
Two of Osman’s Alps have been sent to keep their eyes out for any messenger from Alisar Bey who is travelling on the road to Konya. It is not long before Alisar Beys messenger carrying his letter to Geyhatu is seen.
Osman has a meeting with the Beys from Sogut. His lesson this time is to keep the respect and honour of his people together. They believe that the mongols are planning to put new blood on the throne in Istanbul. Osman will try to find out who this person is.
Jealousy builds when Zohre sees a new woman in the village being protected by Selcan Hatun and Bala. Zohore wants to put them all in their place and plans to kidnap Princess Adelpha knowing that she is getting at Osman at the same time. She plans to use Burcin to exact her plan so suspicion does not fall upon herself or her daughter.
In Kurulus Osman Episode 18 English Subtitles, Osman waits under an apple tree for his sweetheart to join him. He talks to his horse Karayel and tells him it is time for him to get married and if Sheik Edebali does not give his permission for them to marry then he will have to kidnap Bala and be done with it. Osman watches and waits under an apple tree for his beautiful woman to join him. When she comes her smiles lights up his face.
Osman thanks God for writing Bala Hatun’s name in his fate.
Bala brings Osman news that Dundar Bey is back in the Kai nomad. She also tells him that Dundar Bey has told Gunduz that he found the murderer of his son when all along he had been blaming Osman for his death.
Boran Alp arrives at the apple tree with news of the capture of Zorba and gives Osman the letter that Alisar Bey sent with the messenger. After reading the letter Osman believes that Dundar Bey will try to kidnap the Princess.
Meanwhile Alisar Bey finds out that the messenger he sent to Geyhatu along with his letter has been intercepted and Zorba has been kidnapped. This news brings Alisar Bey into a rage. His game will be up if Osman finds out what is in the letter. A messenger is sent to alert Dundar Bey and to advise him to kill Zorba on sight.
At the Kais nomad, while Bala Hatun is away meeting with Osman, Burcin approaches Princess Adelpha who is alone near her tent. In her hand she has a water urn filled with sherbet. She offers Princess Adelpha a drink which she takes happily but the drink is laced with a drug.
Dundar Bey’s Alp finds where Zorba is being hidden. He attempts to kill him but is captured.
Osman’s Alps try to interrogate both of them but an anonymous archer shoots Zorba. The archer is not successful in killing him.
In Kurulus Osman Episode 18 English Subtitles, On arriving back from her meeting with Osman, Bala goes in search of Princess Adelpha and realises that she is nowhere to be found. She hurries to tell Selcan Hatun that the Princess has been kidnapped.
Balgay sends Kongar to keep his eye on Osman whilst our anonymous archer is also out there looking for Osman.
